Jim Mallinak
SVP Operations
Jim Mallinak is a seasoned executive leader with a long track record of successfully bridging the gap between new technology development and high-volume manufacturing. With over 30 years of project management and strategic planning experience, Jim’s expertise spans the many facets of operations in a technology development environment. He brings critical skills and depth of knowledge in engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, organizational development, start up and manufacturing production ramp.
Jim comes to MetOx from Svagos Technik, where as CEO he led the development of Silicon and SiC in Semiconductor CVD technologies. As General Manager and VP of Operations for Sumco, Jim had P&L responsibility for over 600 employees and $100M in annual sales. Over the course of his career, he’s led the project management for over $1.9B in manufacturing capacity expansions, and has directed multiple domestic and international ventures from concept through scale up for high volume manufacturing. Jim has successfully initiated and implemented Lean Manufacturing systems and brings this leadership to MetOx as the company scales its facilities and production.
