MetOx Announces Arthur (Bud) Vos as Chief Executive Officer
Houston, TX – MetOx Technologies, Inc., a Houston-based manufacturer of high temperature superconducting (HTS) wire, announces Arthur (Bud) Vos as its new CEO, adding to its world-class team of business leaders developing technology for advanced energy transition solutions. Bud brings decades of experience scaling businesses in clean energy and grid technologies, and a track record for innovative leadership.
Bud’s depth of knowledge in grid, transmission and distribution markets was fundamental to his past achievements as President and CEO of Enbala Power Networks (acquired by Generac in 2020), and for his insights gained from years of creating high-value solutions for utilities. Most recently, as president of Generac Grid Services, Bud advanced the technology to solidify its leadership in the distributed energy market, mapped out a trajectory for global growth, and created a prosperous business within the company. “For over 20 years, Bud has been a visionary, applying tremendous passion for advancing technology to progress companies,” said Bob Chiste, MetOx board member. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to MetOx. “Building businesses from aspiring start-ups to thriving, dynamic enterprises is what I do best. I’m pleased to be joining MetOx as the company readies its technology for large scale commercial production – a ground-breaking first in the HTS industry,” said Vos. “I’ve seen the power of innovation to accelerate sustainable energy solutions. MetOx will be instrumental to realizing a decarbonized world by building a core technology for how power is delivered.”
