Vladimir is founder and CEO of iBeam Materials, Inc. in Santa Fe, NM.
Vlad is the world-leading expert in Ion-Beam Crystal Alignment technology. Having attained his degrees from Caltech (BS) and Stanford (PhD), he has 30 years of experience with advanced film technology, both within the commercial sector and in government R&D supporting the development of commercial technologies.
At Los Alamos National Lab Vlad worked closely with industry in technology transfer, and has been involved in technology development from initial scientific breakthroughs through to manufacturing and commercialization.
As an expert adviser, Vlad works with MetOx staff to provide assistance on the IBAD template process and its manufacturing.
